Agreement with Conditions of Participation
1. I understand that the equipment and facilities of LexMedia shall be used solely for the production of local programming to be played on the Public access channels and online channels.
2. I shall be thoroughly familiar with the nature of any program material I submit for distribution and take full responsibility for its content.
3. I understand that the following material is prohibited for presentation on the access channels:
• Any solicitation of funds, or advertising, or material designed to promote the sale of commercial
• products or services;
• Any material that is obscene;
• Any material concerning a lottery;
• Any material that is deemed unlawful by a government body;
• Any material that is copyrighted or subject to ownership or royalty rights without necessary releases, licenses or other permission.
4. I understand that if asked, I must provide LexMedia staff, prior to the cablecast or other distribution any program, copies of any talent releases, licenses or other permissions for content that is copyrighted or subject to ownership or royalty rights obtained by me with respect to the program.
5. I understand that I am responsible for all LexMedia equipment and facilities that I use. In the event of damage or loss I must cooperate fully with the LexMedia Insurance Carrier. I am responsible for the $500 deductible for the cost of repair or replacement. In the event LexMedia's claim is not honored by its carrier, I understand that I am responsible to reimburse LexMedia for the full replacement value to be determined by LexMedia.
6. I agree to hold harmless the Town of Lexington, Lexington Community Media Center, Inc. (LexMedia),Comcast, RCN, Verizon, their directors, employees, or successors, for any liability, loss, claim, cost, or damage of any nature whatsoever which may arise by reason of any claim that any material cablecast or disseminated by me infringes or violates any rights of any person or organization; or any and all liabilities arising out of use of facilities and resources, or out of breach of the Agreement with the Operational Rules and Procedures.
7. I have read, am familiar with, and agree to the conditions stated above for participation in Lexington Community Media Center (LexMedia).
