In keeping with Governor Baker’s Massachusetts Reopening plan, LexMedia is reopening our offices next week for staff. To maximize safety, we will be implementing a staggered system – meaning only a few staff members will be in the office at a time. We will not be open to the public until further notice.
In May, LexMedia continued to provide virtual coverage of town government and committee meetings – including the historic Annual Town Meeting (more below). We also celebrated Earth Week, Compost Awareness Week, Memorial Day, and National Nurses Day. The winners of our film festival were announced, and we met the new Executive Director of the Lexington Chamber of Commerce.

Lexington made history again with the first ever Virtual Annual Town Meeting. This “Zoom webinar heard around the commonwealth” was featured on WGBH’s Greater Boston. The segment discussed how area municipalities have creatively solved the problem of passing town budgets and providing government services. The segment begins 23 minutes into the program. Watch the segment here.
Earlier this month, we helped Minuteman High School film their socially distanced graduation. We had a great time celebrating seniors!
COMING UP: At the end of the month, we’ll be filming the socially distanced LHS graduation ceremonies. Check our social media for updates about how to watch.
